A NEW ERA OF COMPETITION- GAS ENERGY CHOICES “As a National Grid customer you now have the option to purchase natural gas from a non-utility ESCO (Energy Service Company), also known as a marketer or supplier. ESCOs compete with each other to sell natural gas. They may be able to sell gas at prices lower than National Grid gas supply prices. Competition offers our customers choice in selecting their gas ESCO. National Grid welcomes competition and is working closely with ESCOs to make it work for the benefit of all our customers. Ask about terms, and consider bill payment options, energy management programs, and other options that meet your needs. Some ESCOs may even offer you incentives.
